the joke is gaga has always been so performative yet non-challenging. she does that thing that white women do, where they think their mere existence as a spectacle effects change and progress without actually putting in any work like. just look at born this way foundation. look at this whole ugliness with r kellard. she wears meat to the grammys to comment on objectification is the commodity dujour but literally courts scandal and controversy now all the way back to the seedling of her career. no doubt shes been thru things but this affectation of altruism is honestly so tiring.
